The story of Halloween New Orleans is a story of the New Orleans gay community – a community coming together to share their love and sense of family, a community celebrating its unique culture and love of showmanship, a community coming to the aid of its own in the dark days of the AIDS crisis, and a community triumphing over challenges with a resilient, joyful spirit.
For 34 years, Halloween New Orleans has been raising money for Project Lazarus, an assisted-living home for those with HIV/AIDS in New Orleans. We're run with an all-volunteer staff and all the money we raise each year goes directly to Lazarus.
We are excited to bring you three events BACK on Halloween weekend (last year, we were a week earlier). We're returning to two venues we've been at before (and love) and adding a new partner with the Hyatt Regency. They will be hosting our Friday night event and are also our Host Hotel. We HIGHLY recommend staying at the Hyatt as it's in a great downtown location and just a few blocks from Saturday's Main Event as well.
See below for details on each event. Host and Patron passes are currently on sale (these are donations to the charity and allow VIP access for Saturday's event). Early Bird Weekend passes are also on sale, deeply discounted. Individual tickets will be on sale soon.
